Louis T’s Word on Hip-Hop-Make Up to Break Ups

9th Wonder no longer in Little Brother!
It’s sad that good things never last in the same vein as Slum Village and J Dilla. 9th Wonder is no longer a member of Durham's Little Brother. This split has been rumored for a while since it was announced that 9 th Wonder wasn't handling the bulk of the production, on Little Brother's 2nd major label album titled "Get Back." Instead Pooh and Phonte had had enlisted producers such as Nottz, Illmind who they have collaborated on other projects and hit maker, Just Blaze. Everything is still supposed to be all good between 9 th and Pooh and Te. 9th may still contributor to LB projects but just not a member of the group. The reasons creative differences Phonte was not really feeling the crop music that 9th had submitting saying a lot of the music sounded alike, and what Little Brother needed to take it to the next level. Other reason 9 th's a pretty busy man these days teaching lectures on hip-hop NC State, Deejaying True School parties, and producing entire projects for artist like, Buckshot, Murs and Jean Gray. Some people site friction to go back to when 9 th stopped touring with Little Brother to work on beats and be home with his family. In other LB news, the next album "Get Back" will not be on Atlantic and are currently tiring to get out of there deal. "Get Back" may be released on sister label Asylum home to Cam'ron and southern artist like Paul Wall. Before Get Back Hall of Justus recently released the unofficial follow up to "Separate but Equal", the mix tape Little Brother dropped last year and collaborated with DJ Drama on. The New mix tape it titled Justus for All and is mixed by Mick Boogie and available for FREE DOWN LOADS on: www.hallofjustus.com and other sites. In other news, 9th Wonder was recently shouted out by Mary J Blige while she was excepting an award at the American Music Awards.
50cent Vs. Cam'ron
Recently 50 cent was on Hot 97 with Angie Martinez promoting various projects like an upcoming books and things of that nature. Styles P of The Lox called in which was a pretty peaceful conversation, for those who don't know 50 cent and Lox had a little verbal feud which started with Jadakiss and 50 is believed to be responsible for pushing Styles P album back. In the conversation 50 stated even though he and Styles are not label mates anymore, he could still push an album even if it was on an independent label like Koch. Later in the interview, a top executive at Koch and Cam'ron called into the station. It seems Cam who has artist and a label on Koch took it personal that 50 said he can stop projects on Koch. Before the interview began Angie asked 50 was there any beef between him and Dipset and 50 replied, “No.” Somehow, Cam took it as a personal assault that 50 called Koch a graveyard record label. Cam started to attack 50 and call him by his government name Curtis Jackson and taking jabs at G Unit projects. Angie was forced to cut the Cam call short because Cam began yelling and cursing. 50 and Cam appeared on a few other radio stations separately talking about what happened. Soon after 50 released "Funeral Music", a Cam dis and Cam released "Currrrrtis" his reply. Both songs have videos on youtube.com or and hip-hop websites like hiphopsite.com. As of right now, the beef is just between 50 and Cam and has not spilled over to the G Unit verses Dip Set beef yet, but we will wait and see. I'm sure mix tapes will be surfacing with those songs.
