WellsI got word that the nationally touring Wilmington, NC based rockers, The Needles (if you don’t know about them now, that may all change very soon and by the way, what rock have you been under anyway? ) were playing a big party in Las Vegas for skateboarder and MTV personality, Bam Margera. They have been gigging their butts of and making the right connections to boot. Upon hearing this, I had to call Chad AKA Charlie Massacre and get the low down on the juicy details. This is the result of our conversation.
How did you guys hook up with the Bam Margera gig?

Tell me about the show.
THE SHOW WAS FANTASTIC AND THE SOUND, THE SET UP, TREATMENT, IT WAS ALL TOP NOTCH.
Where their any famous people there? If so, who?
TOO MANY TO MENTION. I PERSONALLY HUNG WITH THE ELECTRIC CREW BUT DID HAVE DRINKS WITH JASON “WEE MAN” AQUNA AND RYAN DUNN FROM JACKASS AND VIVA LA BAM. SAW STEVEO AND BAM DOING SOME DUMB TRICKS ON STAGE IN BETWEEN BANDS, SAW STEVEO AND SOME DUDE FROM MTV GET KICKED OUT AND THEY LET STEVEO BACK IN. FUNNY SHIT WAS GOING ON. THE ROCK STAR ENERGY DRINK GIRLS WERE SOMETHING ELSE TOO. SAW PLENTY OF THEM.AFTER ROCKING THAT ROOM, THAT TOWN, THAT CROWD, I JUST WANTED TO HAVE A GOOD TIME AND LET LOOSE AND THAT'S NOT THE BEST MIND FRAME TO BE IN WHEN YOU'RE MEETING FOLKS. I JUST WANTED TO PARTY.
Are you guys shopping for a major label deal?
WE'RE NOT VERY GOOD SHOPPERS. I KNOW LOTS OF WOMEN THAT SHOP ALL DAY LONG AND GET THE BEST DEALS IN TOWN. MONEY, STRAIGHT TALK, SUPPORT AND TRUSTS ARE WHAT WE'RE AFTER IN TERMS OF SIGNING AWAY OUR SOULS BUT WE'D SETTLE FOR MONEY, A LOT OF IT.
Is there a tour in the works?
WE'VE BEEN TOURING THE NATION STEADY SINCE 2002. IT’S ALWAYS IN THE
WORKS. WE REALLY LIKE GETTING FLOWN TO OUR GIGS AS IT'S EASIER FOR ALL PARTIES INVOLVED. WE NEED TO BURY OUR VAN AND GET A NEW ONE AND THEN WE'LL HIT THE ROAD, HIT IT HARD.
You guys have been busting out excellent music for a few years now.
With your next record, will there be any sonic changes?
SONICALLY, NO. TONALLY, PERHAPS. PHILOSOPHICALLY, YES.
I also heard that you guys recently played with rock legends, The New York Dolls. How was that show?
THE NEW YORK DOLLS SHOW WAS THE BEST BILL WE'VE EVER BEEN ON AND ONE OF THE MOST FUN SHOWS I'VE EVER ATTENDED. I GUESS YOU COULD SAY WE EARNED THAT ONE. NOTHING MORE, NOTHING LESS. WORD TO THE ROCK.
